Justice-Engaged Youth Support
Montessori del Mundo is committed to supporting justice-engaged students and helping ensure continuity in their education.
A justice-engaged student is a student who is involved in the criminal justice system in any capacity, including, but not limited to, adjudication, probation, ticketing, detention, diversion, commitment, or community supervision.

Services and Resources Available
Montessori del Mundo supports justice-engaged students and families with:
- Enrollment and re-enrollment support.
- Assistance exploring appropriate educational options.
- Review of academic records, coursework, and educational needs.
- Connections to school-based supports, including MTSS, counseling, social-emotional, behavioral, and other appropriate services.
- Access to applicable special education, Section 504, McKinney-Vento, foster care, gifted education, and other educational services and protections.
- Support with educational continuity and successful school re-entry.
- Connections to community, wraparound, and other available resources when appropriate.
