MdM is authorized by the Colorado Charter School Institute (CSI), the state’s only non-district charter school authorizer.
MdM is made up of approximately 50% native English and approximately 50% native Spanish speakers with a goal of bilingualism and bi-literacy for all students.
Students at MdM receive close to 25% more instructional time each year than their peers at “traditional” elementary schools within APS.
The student/teacher ratio in ECE/Kinder classrooms is 1:10. Each classroom has a lead teacher with two support teachers.
